Our Martos plant is one of the largest sites within Valeo's Visibility Systems Business Group, focused on developing and manufacturing Lighting Products and Electronics. Valeo continuously innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers, from the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting and stylish external lighting.
As a Product Architect Engineer at Valeo Martos, you will have the opportunity to work with leading carmakers in electronics development in an international and multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and discuss technical topics with international automotive customers
- Lead the product architecture definition, providing a product breakdown structure
- Propose physical architecture alternatives and select the best compromise
- Lead Design‑to‑Cost reviews
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve common project goals
- Integrate new automotive technologies in future products
- Manage and trade off product requirements
- Support new business by leading architecture concept definition
Desired skills and experience
- Electronics, Telecommunication, IT, Industrial, Aeronautical Engineering, Physics Degree/Master
- 3+ years of experience in engineering/scientific field;
automotive knowledge desirable
- Knowledge and passion for the automotive industry
- Abstraction capacity, lateral and holistic thinking
- English negotiation level mandatory;
other languages are a plus
- Experience with spreadsheet tools;
