Do you have a proven track record in launching crop protection products and building strong networks in the agri‑sector? Are you fluent in Spanish or Italian and eager to bring innovative solutions to market? At Globachem, we’re looking for a Business Developer Innovations with deep roots in the crop protection industry to help us grow our footprint in Southern Europe.
Responsibilities
Commercialize Globachem’s own developed innovative crop protection products in South‑European countries.
Provide market insights, map competition and competing products.
Build a strong technical basis and understanding of our innovations and translate it into compelling use recommendations that support quick and convincing market adoption.
Lead pre‑launch initiatives and support distributors to ensure successful product introductions through demo trials, technical training and presentations.
Maintain a solid network of distributors, CROs, advisors and industry influencers in Spain and Italy, and build such a network in other South‑European countries.
Coordinate annual trial plans to meet regulatory, crop safety, compatibility and sales requirements.
Represent Globachem at local congresses and symposiums.
With the responsible sales manager, select distribution partners and set pricing.
Work closely with colleagues from Sales & Marketing, and across other departments such as R&D;, Product Development, Regulatory and Supply Chain.
Report to the Business Development Manager at our headquarters in Belgium.
Qualifications
Degree in Agronomy, Bio‑engineering or any related field.
At least 7 years of experience in a commercial role in crop protection and experience in launching new products.
Fluent in Spanish or Italian (native level) and English.
Other languages are a plus.
Based in South Europe (Spain or Italy) and adaptable to travel frequently to other South‑European countries or to headquarters in Belgium.
Strong communicator and excellent negotiation skills.
Apply a strategic and commercial approach in managing projects.
