## Overview We are seeking a skilled Fiber Technician to join our team. As a Fiber Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fibre optic cables and networks. ## Duties - Install, splice, terminate, and test fibre optic cables - Perform network installations and troubleshooting - Handle Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) systems - Work with Ethernet and computer hardware - Repair equipment related to fibre optic networks - Configure and maintain Cisco Routers - Telecommunicate with team members effectively - Interpret schematics for network installations - Utilise hand tools for cable and equipment installations ## Experience ### Required Skills: - Proficiency in Juniper systems - Experience in network installation - Knowledge of VoIP technologies - Familiarity with Ethernet and computer hardware - Ability to repair equipment related to fibre optics - Competence in configuring Cisco Routers ### Nice-to-Have Skills: - Previous experience in telecommunication roles - Understanding of network schematics - Proficient in utilising hand tools for installationsTipo de puesto: Jornada completaHorario:- De lunes a viernes- Horas extraUbicación del trabajo: Viajes periódicos
