Together each of you will be part of a team that provides care and guidance to boys and girls in need.

Starting salary of $100,000 per couple, varies by location.

Responsibilities:
Live on-site in a Boys Town Family Home and provide direct care for 6-8 at-risk youth in a family-style environment.
Provide emotional support through praise, positive feedback, affection, and empathy.
Use problem-solving techniques to teach critical thinking, assist with behavioral issues, and provide crisis intervention.
Plan and participate in educational and entertaining activities for youth and families.
Teach parenting and relationship skills to youth, guardians, and caretakers.
Maintain contact with agencies regarding youth progress and behaviors.
Prepare written records on household management, youth progress, incidents, and medical needs.
Model Boys Town values and support participation in religious activities.
Supervise and support Assistant Family-Teachers.
Manage daily household operations and transportation needs.
Safety and Service Standards:
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Attend safety and risk management training.
Report suspicious behaviors and policy violations.
Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Be at least 21 years old.
High School diploma or equivalent;
college credits preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a good record and ability to pass MVR check.
Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Pass a background check and reference verification.
Attend a 2-week paid training in Omaha, Nebraska.
Additional Notes:
This role involves physical activity and safety awareness, including lifting, moving furniture, outdoor grounds maintenance, and youth transportation.
Must be capable of handling stressful situations and maintaining mental and physical health.
