As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about test automation and software quality to join our team in Barcelona. This role is ideal for someone with at least 3 years of QA experience who wants to work in an environment where automation is at the core of testing.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for our mobile application (UI, API, and integration tests).
* Use frameworks such as Maestro and Appium to automate mobile testing on React Nativ applications.
* Create and run automated API tests to ensure backend reliability using Pytest.
* Integrate and execute tests within a CI/CD environment.
* Leverage Docker to manage and run isolated test environments.
* Collaborate closely with developers and other QA members to ensure the highest quality at every release.
* Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and suggest new tools or solutions.
* Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, tech sync, retrospectives) to embed quality at every development stage.
* Run data quality checks on the Data pipelines along with our Data Engineer
* KPI and metrics follow up
Qualifications
* At least 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on test automation.
* Proficiency with at least one mobile testing framework (Maestro, Appium, or equivalent).
* Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar using python or javascript).
* Knowledge of Docker and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong debugging skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with a proactive mindset.
* Fluent in English
