Your mission
We are looking to incorporate a new team member into our Biotechnology Department, within the Technologies area.
What will your day-to-day look like?
You will take part in projects (from preparation to execution) as a Researcher or as a member of a Research Group in the field of Biotechnology, carrying out tasks such as:
* Advisory services for external and internal clients in the field of biotechnology.
* Preparation and execution of R&D&I projects.
* Preparation of technical reports.
* Client visits and meetings.
* Participation in outreach activities and national and international events.
* Participation in training activities.
* Preparation of project proposals.
Your profile
High analytical skills, organisation, planning, initiative, creativity, leadership, flexibility, adaptation to changes, customer orientation, teamwork and vocation for people (cooperation and empathy) are elements that we look for in any position at AIMPLAS.
Required Education
University degree at postgraduate level, preferably a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioinformatics, or related fields.
Additional Training
* Master’s degree in Polymer and Composite Materials Technologies.
* Proven high level of English and Spanish.
Desirable Experience
* Structural bioinformatics and protein sequence analysis.
* In silico protein or enzyme design and modification (rational mutagenesis, optimization of stability, activity, or expression).
* Production of recombinant proteins in the laboratory.
* Purification and basic characterization of proteins.
* Computational tools for enzyme identification and improvement.
* Identification and characterization of enzymes using bioinformatics tools.
* Use of bioinformatics tools and specialized software.
* Experience in R&D&I projects within biotechnological environments.
