**The purpose of the role**
The Junior Planner is responsible for creating and maintaining production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s production capacity as well as managing inventory levels.
He/she also provides support and is the back up of members of the supply chain team.
It is a 8-month temporary position.
**Responsibilities**
- Review and evaluate the MRP reports daily.
- Create, maintain, and organize production Schedules.
- Identify problems and provide support to solve them.
- Communicate and adapt the schedules due to the changes of delivery dates.
- Monitor and analyze the stock of Finished Product to minimize the Finished Stock exposure for LOI.
- Administrative support in the generation of reports and documentation.
- Support in the implementation of process improvements
- Participate in daily operational meetings.
- Take actions and decisions to comply with the OTIF.
- Monitor, update and analyze the KPIs of the area. Act as a backup of other supply chain areas, providing administration support on the day-to-day tasks of the function
- Provides administrative support to team members, or specific processes of other areas of Supply Chain
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics or equivalent experience in planning, procurement or logistics role (minimum 1 years’ experience)
- Knowledge of the production process.
- Knowledge and understanding of ERP systems. Previous experience in Microsoft
- Dynamics would be valuable.
- Fluency in Spanish and English
