Description
The Manager of Financial Performance Management Systems has the primary role of IT Service Owner of Galderma’s global Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) platform and its associated business processes. This position is accountable to deliver business value through reliable, effective, and efficient IT infrastructure analysis and planning. The Manager of Financial Performance Management Systems will ensure efficient service delivery planning through demand and requirement management, asset lifecycle planning and long-term capacity management activities, while ensuring further development of IT Services offered by the FPM function, governance processes and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Be the IT Service owner of the Financial Performance Management systems and processes:
Account Reconciliation
Financial Close & Consolidation
Planning & Budgeting
Tax Reporting
Financial Master Data
2. Individually act as subject matter expert in the areas of Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud (AHCS), Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS).
3. Manage a small team of IT Business Analysts responsible for EPM modules including FCCS, EDMCS, TRCS, PBCS.
4. Leverage shared IT Finance resources responsible for IT Operations Management and Project Management.
Service Lifecycle planning:
5. Prepare service standards definition leveraging FPM team, Operations Manager for IT Finance, and Global IT.
6. Service lifecycle calendar and roadmap – ensuring all required activities and timelines are known, anticipated, and followed through.
7. Service financial monitoring, controlling, and reporting.
FPM function processes and frameworks:
8. Ensure frameworks are known, formalized, fit-for-purpose and adapted to FPM function, are properly documented.
9. Monitor and measure compliance.
10. Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with global processes and operating model.
11. FPM function plan management.
12. Anticipate and analyze client needs, market and technology trends. New product identification/design.
Skills & Qualifications
13. Strong professional experience in a similar position, across multi functions and business processes including Accounting, Financial Reporting, Financial Planning functions.
14. Experience with financial performance management applications/platforms including Oracle EPM, specifically Oracle Accounting Hub Cloud Service (AHCS) and Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud (ARCS).
15. Experience in a fast-paced environment, commitment to execution in a rapidly changing and evolving global environment.
16. Ability to communicate with and influence senior leaders, as well as ability to establish new relationships quickly.
17. Strong time and work management capabilities, prioritize key business peaks.
18. Collaborative, yet able to operate independently; self-motivated/driven yet able to lead and influence in a matrixed environment.
19. Experience in managing and leading diverse and virtual teams.
