We are seeking a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team in Barcelona.

Who You Are

You’re a tech enthusiast who loves problem-solving and wants to grow in a collaborative, engineering-focused environment. You’re curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions—always eager to learn and improve.

Your Responsibilities

1. Assist in defining and managing runtime infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), covering basics like networking, databases, and proxies for both cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-prem setups.
2. Contribute to building secure, stable, and scalable systems, following network and security best practices—with support and guidance from senior teammates.
3. Help implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools so teams understand and support their applications easily.
4. Support development teams with CI/CD processes—build pipelines, testing, packaging, and deployment workflows.
5. Spot repetitive tasks and help automate them, promoting self-service and operational efficiency across the team.

Why This Role Is Exciting

You get hands-on training, mentoring, and clear growth opportunities. If you’re passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to help shape how teams deliver and support applications, you’ll thrive here. You'll be part of a supportive group where your ideas matter and your skills get sharper every week.

Skills & Qualifications

6. Skills & Qualifications:
7. Hands-on experience with a public cloud provider (AWS, Azure).
8. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code—especially Terraform is a major plus.
9. Basic containerization knowledge (Docker) and exposure to Kubernetes/other orchestration platforms.
10. Comfortable in Linux/Unix environments.
11. Good scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
12. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls) and an understanding of high-availability concepts is a big plus.
13. Exposure to Git/GitOps workflows—tools like ArgoCD are a bonus.
14. Interest in security best practices and an eagerness to learn how to apply them.
15. Problem-solving mindset and a desire to grow through collaboration.

Soft Skills

16. Proven team player: collaborative, supportive, and able to thrive in cross-functional teams.
17. Strong communicator, fluent in English (written and verbal).
18. Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

20. Intro to the team, key contacts, and communication channels.
21. Review infrastructure and automation standards.

Week 2:

22. Guided walkthroughs on core infrastructure and deployment pipelines with a mentor.
23. Study documentation and complete foundational training: IaC basics (Terraform), cloud environments, monitoring tools.

Weeks 3–4:

24. Shadow and assist on small tickets: updating automation scripts, improving basic network setups, adding monitoring/alerting components.
25. Pair programming sessions for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure code.

Weeks 5–6:

26. Take ownership of a mini-project—implement a monitored service, automate a repetitive task, or contribute to a deployment workflow.
o Regular check-ins with team lead/mentor to review progress and set new learning goals.

Continuous Learning:

27. Regular catch-ups with peers.
28. Scheduled follow-ups with manager to review progress and set development goals.
