About the role

We’reseeking a Market Demand Planner to join Dyson on a temporary basis, coveringa paternity leave. This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role and make a real impact during an exciting phase of growth.

Reporting to the Head of Demand Planning, you will be instrumental as a strategic differentiator in support of Dyson’s growth and customer experience.

The Market Demand Planner will be key, as the unbiased function, to lead the multi-functional team efforts in accurately forecasting the true demand. This role will be bringing the outside in, ensuring high quality and accuracy in Dyson’s planning efforts, feedingaccurateby SKU forecast to the Supply team so they can provide the right level of service and inventory to deliver the business.

Youwill:

1. Lead transformation of current process & ways of working to deliver a new Operating Model for “best in class” demand planning across the market.
2. Develop and coordinate demand planning and budgeting processes used within the organization (lead the local IBP process) 
3. Demand Forecasting:Utilizehistorical data, market trends, and inputs from sales and marketing teams to buildaccurateandtimelybottom-up demand forecasts (based on validated assumptions collected duringmonthlycycle).Analysedemand patterns andidentifyfactors that mayimpactdemand fluctuations.
4. Design & implement reasonability tools to deliver against the principles of 50/50 demand management. 
5. Responsibleofforecast accuracy overall, root cause analysis and action planning 
6. Cross functional collaboration with Sales, Finance and Marketing 
7. Closely workwith the Supply Chain Managers by focusing on giving them the right input (by SKU/CRG sell-in forecast) to deliver the needed levels of service and inventory 
8. Performance Analysis and Reporting:maintainand communicate a suite of relevant KPI’s with a strong focus behind RCA and continuous improvement, communicated to key stakeholders in a meaningful way.
9. Proactivelyidentifyopportunities for demand planning process improvement. Overall lead a culture of continuous improvement 
10. Coordinate efforts to achieve our targets (volume and value),timelyidentifygaps vs. target if any and ensure proper allocation of resources to maximize profit 
11. Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of demand planning reports and other intelligence essential to the Global Revenue and Supply Chain organizations. Recommends revisions to existing reports orassistsin the development of new reporting tools as needed 
12. Implements enabling technologies and/or support deployment of global solutions in the region 
13. Build a network across markets to share & reapply bestpractice.

About you

14. In depthknowledge of demand management and proventrack recordof delivering results in complex environments.

21. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field 
22. 3years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management 
23. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills 
24. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools 
25. Proficiencyin demand planning software and statistical forecasting techniques 
26. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
