We are looking for an experienced ABAP Consultant to join a SAP EWM/WM development team working in a regulated (GxP) environment. The role focuses on designing and developing ABAP solutions based on technical specifications provided by the Senior ABAP Lead, ensuring compliance with SAP standards and project guidelines.
You will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP EWM warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, and internal movements. A key area of the role is label printing development and optimization, including Zebra/ZPL integration, label preview functionality, reprint reason tracking, audit trail logging, and unique label ID generation.
The position also involves building and supporting system interfaces, including integrations with external systems such as LabVantage and LIMS for stock status updates. Development will be carried out using technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, REST, and SOAP, ensuring reliable and high-quality data exchange between systems.
In addition, you will participate in functional and technical testing, defect fixing, and hyper-care activities during and after go-live. You will collaborate closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders while contributing to code reviews and maintaining high development standards.
A strong focus of the role is compliance with GxP regulations and data integrity principles (ALCOA+), including preparation of technical documentation for validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Requirements
Must have:
* Minimum 3 years of ABAP development experience in SAP WM/EWM environments
* Minimum 3 years of experience in label/print development (Zebra/ZPL, SmartForms or Adobe Forms)
* Minimum 3 years of experience in interface development (IDocs, BAPIs, REST or SOAP)
* Experience in at least one full SAP end-to-end implementation (go-live experience required)
* Strong knowledge of SAP EWM or WM from a development perspective
* Ability to work based on technical specifications and coding standards defined by the team lead
Nice to have:
* Experience in pharmaceutical or regulated (GxP) environments
* Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements
* Experience with SAP EWM RF Framework
* Familiarity with LabVantage or LIMS integration
* Spanish or Catalan language skills
