What you’ll do
:
The primary role of a Senior Facility Specialist is to oversee the management of our facilities, ensuring they are safe, secure, and well-maintained. In particular you will:
1. Liaise with vendors and contractors, obtaining and comparing quotes before initiating jobs.
2. Align with internal and external business partners and stakeholders.
3. Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to determine the need for repairs or replacements.
4. Evaluate different vendors and service providers to ensure facilities-related services are of appropriate quality and cost-effective.
5. Ensure all operations are conducted in a compliant manner, meeting all health and safety guidelines.
6. Manage, oversee, and coordinate relocation, installations, and refurbishments activities. Act as local PM during construction, utilization, maintenance, reconstruction, redevelopment and demolition of buildings and other properties.
7. Maintains RE-FX data.
8. Ensure alignment with ESG & GRF requirements.
9. Ensure workplace is suitable to achieve positive customer experience.
10. Effectively communicate workplace updates as needed.
11. Ensure proper management and proper monitoring expenditure and provide forecast estimation.
What you bring:
12. At least 3 to 5 years’ experience as Facility Coordinator/Manager or similar operational role.
13. In-depth understanding of facility management, project management, change management and related processes.
14. Degree in Facility Management, engineering, business management or relevant field preferred.
15. Relevant professional qualifications such as Facility Management Professional or Certified Facility Manager (FMP or CFM) preferred.
16. Familiarity with health, environmental and fire, life safety regulations.
17. Proficiency in MS Office suite applications and facility management software
