MGM Muthu Hotels is looking for a proven Revenue Manager who specializes in optimal revenue performance and distribution for guest rooms, function space, spa, and food and beverage outlets.

Summary:

Manages Pricing and Inventory. Ensures Inventory is allocated and restricted properly to maximize revenue and profits for hotels in the market. Responsible for building rates, packages and hotel sales strategy information in the hotel(s)’ inventory systems. The position makes pricing and positioning recommendations for market hotels. Conducts analysis of revenue, profit and demand associated with hotel rooms and space inventory. Position contributes to forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections. Position critiques sales strategy effectiveness and prepares historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Revenue Management Projects and Strategy

* Communicates proactively with properties regarding rate restrictions and strategy.
* Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.
* Conducts sales strategy analysis and refines as appropriate to increase market share for all properties.
* Maintains accurate reservation system information.
* Analyzes period end and other available systems data to identify trends, future need periods and obstacles to achieving goals.
* Assists with account diagnostics process and validates conclusions.
* Updates market knowledge and aligns strategies and approaches accordingly.
* Explores opportunities that drive profit, create value for clients, and encourage innovation; challenges existing processes/systems/products to make improvements.
* Checks distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy and competitor positioning.

Analyzing and Reporting Revenue Management Data

* Strategize initiatives which increase the overall and the portfolio occupancy.
* Dynamic inventory allocation after analyzing the segment demand.
* Controlling the pilferage of rooms inventory by allocating rooms to high yielding segments.
* Liaising with marketing teams and designing promotions and offers.
* Closely coordinate with stakeholders.
* Prepares forecasts of revenue and occupancy for rooms for prescribed timeframes.
* Prepares revenue opportunity analysis.
* Provides revenue analysis functional expertise and leadership to general managers, property leadership teams and sales leaders.
* Extracts and analyses data to draw viable/actionable business conclusions.
* Compiles information, analyses and monitors actual sales against projected sales.

Building Successful Relationships

* Develops and manages internal & External key stakeholder relationships.
* Serves as the liaison, when necessary, between property and regional/corporate systems support.
* Proactively develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintains them over time.
* Training /Informing and/or updating the executives, the peers and the subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.

Your Experience and Skills Include:

* Previous experience in Revenue Management is an asset.
* Understanding of hotel revenue strategy and distribution.
* Excellent proficiency with revenue management tools and systems such as PMS, Channel Manager, OTA Extranets, TravelClick, Tableau, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, etc.
* Heightened attention to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to leverage strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
