About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead business development and strategic partnerships within the pharmaceutical and CRO sectors, focusing on clinical trials and integrating AI‑based medical technologies into research workflows.


Key Responsibilities

* Identify, initiate, develop, and manage business opportunities with clients and partners.
* Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for our AI‑powered medical device software products.
* Build consultative relationships with key stakeholders (clinical operations, R&D, innovation departments).
* Understand client needs related to clinical trials and AI applications, translating them into tailored proposals.
* Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
* Collaborate with internal teams (Clinical Science, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success) to ensure alignment between technical capabilities and client expectations.
* Act as a bridge between the commercial team and clinical stakeholders, ensuring accurate and compelling scientific and technical messaging.
* Anticipate business risks, competitor movements, and regulatory trends in clinical research.
* Represent Legit.Health at conferences, trade shows, and industry events, promoting our products and building key relationships.
* Provide regular and detailed reports on sales progress, forecasts, and strategies to senior management.
* Collect client feedback to inform product and research strategy.


Qualifications

* 5‑10 years of experience in business development or partnership roles, ideally within digital health, CROs, or pharma.
* Minimum of 3 years working with CROs or clinical trials in Europe (US experience is a strong plus).
* Ability to communicate complex scientific and technical concepts clearly.
* Strong business acumen and exceptional negotiation skills to secure advantageous deals.
* Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot or similar) and G Suite.
* Excellent presentation and negotiation skills with C‑level, R&D, and medical teams.
* Proven ability to manage relationships with clients and partners at senior executive and director level.
* Strong focus on closing deals.
* Ability to operate in a dynamic and challenging environment.
* Natural problem solver and strategic thinker.
* Efficiency and readiness to deliver measurable results.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of news, trends, and regulations in the healthcare sector.
* “Can‑do” attitude, proactive, disciplined, organized, autonomous, high motivation and energy.
* Team player capable of adapting to changes in a fast‑paced environment.

Languages
