Job Description
Drives the continuous improvement of supply with constraint suppliers. Responsible for balancing inventories throughout the Electronics and Wiring Plants when a supplier has capacity and/or supply constraints. Will typically be responsible for managing both the manufacturing plant and suppliers on those constrained raw material part numbers.
Responsibilities
Manage suppliers to resolve escalated critical supply constraints and ensure continuity of supply into Lear's manufacturing facilities
Work with external suppliers and Lear internal cross‐functional teams (manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing) as the leader in complex escalations to drive short and long‐term corrective actions
Work closely with the commodity purchasing team to provide insight and guidance on market and supplier capacity
Develop allocation strategies with both suppliers and manufacturing plants to achieve results
Support materials teams with escalations on immediate supply crisis for resolution

Bachelor's degree
Minimum 8 years of supply chain experience
