We are currently looking for an experienced and hands-on Health & Safety Manager (She/He) for our industrial site in Girona.Learn more: www.rousselot.comWe are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join our industrial site in Girona.Reporting directly to the General Manager and functionally to the HSE EMEA Manager, you will lead our plant's Health & Safety function. In close collaboration with the Operations, Finance, and Human Resources departments, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:Lead and Coordinate all preventive activities, managing external prevention services, occupational health providers, and contractor coordination (CAE platform).Drive Investigations into workplace accidents and incidents, with a sharp focus on operational equipment safety.Analyze & Report key performance indicators (KPIs) on accident rates and preventive compliance to senior management.Oversee the management and distribution of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for all workers.Develop and Deliver comprehensive health and safety training programs for all staff.Oversee all legalizations and authorizations to ensure Health & Safety compliance, while also providing support for environmental regulations and permits.Define and Implement robust emergency and self-protection protocols, including the execution of evacuation drills.You will also assume the following roles assigned to the position:Secretary of the plant’s Health & Safety Committee.Occupational Risk Prevention (PRL) Technician of the plant.Active member of the Crisis Committee.Active member of the plant’s Food Defense team.Active member of the MOC (Management of Change) team.Required profile:University degree in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or a similar field.Additional postgraduate qualification: Master’s Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention.Proficiency in English.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment, preferably in the chemical or food sector.Competencies:We are looking for someone who is:ProactiveInitiative-drivenAnalytical thinkerStrong in leadership and communicationHighly organized and quality-orientedWe offer:Competitive compensation (fixed + bonus), based on the value contributed.Permanent contract in a stable, growing international companyMedium-term professional development opportunities in an international environment.Pension plan and life insurance included.
