Regional Sales Manager North West Europe / Iberia
to join our team in Madrid, Spain.
Job SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager will maximise the exposure of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts (WHR) franchised hotels of all brands within their territory, focusing on developing sales opportunities, managing customer accounts, and driving contribution to the hotels within their region(s).
The region includes North West Europe / Iberia, with a focus on Iberia and the UK. The role involves managing and developing existing National and Regional Accounts and developing new business accounts across all market segments to boost contribution to a defined set of hotels.
This position requires a sales approach, partnering with clients and travel intermediaries to deliver incremental revenue and increased market share for the hotels, franchise partners, and WHR.
Responsibilities
Sales Account Management & New Business Development
Identify and secure new accounts within the territory, building robust pipeline plans with revenue and room night targets by segment:
Corporate Transient Business (RFP & TMC), Group / MICE Business (GSO Sales Leads), Leisure groups & FIT (Tour Operators & Agencies)
Develop strategic partnerships with key leisure Tour Operators, Corporate Clients, Travel Agencies, and MICE Companies to drive hotel business.
Franchisee Relations
Work with franchise and management partners to understand their needs, visit hotels, and educate them on WHR tools.
Internal Relations & Systems
Collaborate across WHR units, support colleagues, and utilize business tools and systems to meet goals.
Industry Participation
Represent WHR at industry events and participate in associations.
Self-Development
Continuously update knowledge and skills to stay relevant and prepared for additional responsibilities.
Complexity & ScopeThe manager will drive significant revenue, managing accounts within their territory remotely, with minimal supervision, responsible for new and existing accounts.
Financial ResponsibilityResponsible for a portfolio of accounts, with annual revenue goals and participation in incentive plans. Manage expenses within budgets, including travel and entertainment costs, and submit monthly expense reports.

College/University Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in hospitality or a commercial field.
Significant hotel sales experience (property, national, or global).
Multi-segment knowledge preferred.
Full driving license preferred.
Fluency in English;
additional European language (Spanish) is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hospitality sales systems.
