Key Responsibilities
Plan and follow up painting activities; act as focal actor between AHE (Operations and Service & Support) and painting subcontractor, collecting AHE painting activity needs and ensuring deliveries on time and quality from the subcontractor (Planning).
Workprep (data pack for subcontracted production activities).
Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality, consistency, and completeness of all technical documentation deliverables related to AHE needs.
Management and support painting subcontractor: Analyse and resolve blocking points (PPS/8D) that could halt production.
NC Board leadership: Manage non‑conformities, analyse root cause and implement preventive solutions.
KPI Tracking: Report work progress, monitor Key Performance Indicators (OTD, OTQ, OTC) and escalated critical issues when necessary.
Continuous improvement plan: Proactively improve the performance of the department.
Management of paintshop costing, painting quotation management, reviewing and approving subcontractor quotations, creating purchasing orders, ensuring on‑time costing process.
Monitor costing and support financial department, providing periodic product cost, updating new quotations and planning expenses forecast.
Other functions: support internal and external customers for technical issues, propose technical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction; coordinate maintenance and industrial means activities of the department, ensuring availability without impacting production needs.
Your Profile
Engineering degree is required.
At least 2 years of experience in the aeronautical sector.
Understanding of materials, surface preparation and painting process principles.
Proactive, curious, and rigorous; enthusiastic and constant; recognized as a great team player.
Ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Great energy, capable of staying focused in high‑activity contexts.
Ability to anticipate problems.
High‑level dialogue.
Flexibility and open‑minded attitude towards change (adaptability).
Effective communication in Spanish and English required; French and German would be valuable.
Knowledge of health and safety regarding chemical topics is an advantage.
