Job Purpose
Lead and improve Planning processes, including but not limited to MPS/MRP Process, Resources Capacity Planning, Purchasing, Manage Inventory & stocking policies, Cost Variance Analysis & Master Data Management.
Collecting and analyzing supply chain data. Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance.
Recommending projects & action plans to improve service level, inventory turnover and productivity. Coordinating with other professionals to implement changes and new systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the supply of products/components to meet customer requirements, minimum production costs and target safety stock levels.
* Maintain relationships with Production, Intercompany, Logistics and Commercial departments, including communication of issues and prioritization of orders.
* Production Planning for one or multiple facilities within Alicante site including:
* Detailed realistic production schedule by converting planned production orders into production orders considering customer demands and short-term capacity restrictions.
* Liaises closely with production team and maintenance employees to ensure that production schedule is met.
* Continuously monitors progress of production schedule.
* Interfaces heavily with production management.
* Monitors and executes accurate completion of finished production orders.
* Executes provision of necessary raw materials, semi-finished goods and spare parts.
* Monitors production and raw material costs.
* Collects and assesses data about the production and team's performance, monitors production KPIs (esp. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Scheduling Adherence, Inventory Accuracy, Stock Coverage). Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
* Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
* Track KPIs and report on supply chain’s performance.
* Oversee inventory procedures.
* Perform inventory analysis and prepare inventory reports.
Experience and Knowledge
* University degree in Engineering, Operations or Supply Chain Management, or equivalent and 5-8 years of professional experience in the field of Supply Chain.
* English Proficient.
* Previous experience in scheduling and planning in a manufacturing environment.
* IDEAL Lean / six sigma training (e.g. green belt).
* Strong analytical skills (Data mining, MS. Excel, PowerBI, Python).
* Experience SAP ECC (not SAP Business One).
