Your responsibilities will include:
* As a Software Engineering Manager you will you will play a key role in the development and optimization of embedded electronic systems
* Lead the design, development, testing, integration, and maintenance of high-quality embedded firmware for next-generation mobility products
* Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensure continuous skills development and technical excellence
* Collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D teams, including electronics, mechanics, and hardware
* Drive improvements in firmware development using best practices such as unit testing and Agile methodologies
* Ensure project timelines and deliverables align with business objectives
* Operate in a fast-paced and diverse development environment
Requirements:
* Willingness to relocate to Barcelona
* Relevant higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field
* 5+ years of experience in people management, with a proven ability to lead and mentor engineers
* 12+ years of experience in real time embedded C programming (at least 3-5 years in the automotive sector)
* Bare-metal C programming experience
* Strong knowledge of ARM architecture
* Experience with communication protocols
* Excellent leadership skills
Nice to Have:
* Experience programming Cypress PSoC microcontrollers
* Familiarity with Git/GitHub for source control
* Knowledge of C++, C#, and Python
