Senior AWS Cloud Engineer at Edwards Lifesciences
We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to support and enhance our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will work closely with the Cloud Architecture team to implement scalable, secure, and automated solutions aligned with established designs. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure as code, optimizing performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting CI/CD workflows. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in AWS services, automation tools, and cloud security, and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Create and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
* Collabor_speed with Cloud Architecture to design scalable, secure, and automated Atlas solutions.
* Optimize cloud performance and cost, ensuring high availability and reliability.
* Manage compliance, security, and governance requirements in the cloud Jade.
* Support and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployments.
How you will make an impact
* Evaluate new technologies and build effective solutions for robust solutions that are scalable and meet the needs of New Product Development (NPD) and other business requirements.
* Develop reps and lead the implementation of new cloud solutions in partnership with team members such as Cloud Architects.
* Recommend best-of-breed solutions and cloud infrastructure improvements.
* Identify IT business processes impacting NPD and make recommendations for resolution.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a technical field, 4+ years of experience in Cloud Computing or Software Engineering.
Additional Experience
* Full knowledge of DevOps principles and experience building internal tools.
* Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
* Familiarity with container and orchestration tech such as Docker, ECS, Kubernetes.
* Strong communication skills and teamwork.
* Knowledge of AWS VPCs, Subnets, EC2, routing; Azure IaaS components like VMs, virtual networks, storage.
Fondation
* Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, PowerShell.
* Strict attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
