Job Description: PreSales Engineer
As a PreSales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing business opportunities within the Digital services sector and supporting assigned German customers. Your daily tasks will include:
1. Writing and constructing offers for final customers.
2. Providing technical and commercial support to the sales team throughout the sales lifecycle.
3. Managing Digital Services opportunities from inception to completion.
4. Designing technical solutions and building comprehensive business cases.
5. Developing partner relationships to enhance our standard offerings and value proposition.
6. Understanding and identifying customer needs, providing expert advice on IT solution design.
7. Managing client demands and expectations from a technical perspective.
8. Collaborating with multinational and local sales teams to support commercial processes, focusing on technical client needs and solution definition.
9. Sharing technical knowledge with the sales support team and providing training.
10. Engaging proactively with global departments (Presales, Procurement, Operations, Finances) to meet client demands.
11. Collaborating with marketing and product teams to prepare product training sessions.
12. Keeping up to date with digital technologies and industry trends.
13. Achieving defined sales targets, KPIs, and financial metrics related to revenue and profitability.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We believe the ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of a BS/CS degree; MBA or MSc and relevant certifications (e.g., ISACA CISA, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE4, etc.) are preferred.
* At least 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Sales Consultant in the digital industry, with experience in presales and operations, preferably with large accounts (IBEX35, CAC40, DAX).
* Experience testing new products, analyzing market fit, and managing global solutions for multinational companies.
* Deep knowledge of T-Tech's organization and processes, including presales, operations, product, finance, procurement, and compliance.
* Strong industry knowledge, proven track record in developing digital business opportunities.
* Professional demeanor, technical and communication skills, with influencing and negotiating abilities.
* Ability to balance business risks and customer requirements, demonstrating innovation and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written communication skills, especially in bid writing and negotiations.
Languages
* Fluent English (mandatory); German and Spanish are desirable.
