What the Role Delivers A Staff Accountant is a cornerstone of financial operations, uniquely positioned to ensure the accuracy, transparency, and reliability of an organization's financial data.
K ey Responsibilities In order of relative importance
Book entries under US-Gaap and Local Gaap (various EMEA and other entities)
Review of payment proposals
Bank account reconciliation (Shadow/transitory SAP GL bank accounts)
Account reconciliations in Blackline
Review of Intercompany Reconciliation
Ensure correctness of Accounts (Accrual, prepayments, GR/IR, VAT, Payroll)
Ensure proper organization of archives of your area of operation
VAT and WHT filings, EC-Listings, Intrastat for different entities in EMEA and other regions

What the Job Requires Solid accounting experience, bachelor's in business administration required.
Strong command of Excel
Strong command of SAP (as an accountant)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are mandatory. Valuable: French, Italian, Turkish, Greek.
2-5 years of accounting experience in an industrial environment
Travel is not foreseen for the position, but might be necessary at a certain point in time
