To lead, motivate and develop Spanish's marketing team to deliver on the timely execution of projects. The Spanish Head of Marketing also represents the market at a Global level, sharing best practice and collaborating on major Global strategies with the central Group Marketing teams.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES AND SUPPORTING ACTIVITIES:Leadership of media planning, evaluation and auditing- Key manager of the media agency, authoring overall annual media strategy to reach key audience through variety of media channels- Overall control of the media plan ensuring that key booking dates are met, supporting brand managers to deliver campaigns on time and driving full value out of our media.- Management of media agency to produce meaningful post campaign analysis- Management of Audit process to evaluate quality performance of media agency on an annual basis- Review of media agency performance and pricing in comparison to rest of market, and subsequent re-negotiation of media contract, as appropriate.- Work with local Communications team and Digital teams to embed social media into our comms plans as an integrated part of the mix.- Develop strong collaboration with Group and EU heads on media strategies, ensure the plans encapsulate consistent vision (Beauty/Floorcare).- Push the boundaries with Advertising creative and Media planning to improve reach and conversion in our market.- Actively participate in the group Brand and Insight team to drive Iberian agenda.Development of Dyson marketing strategies across all categories to deliver the Spanish P&L- Author overall communications strategy for Dyson Spain, considering our full brand proposition and voice what makes Dyson different to our competitors. Plan how this cascade across each category to show clear brand differentiation and superiority.- Deliver internal strategy communication and leadership within the Iberian business and the wider Dyson group, globally where appropriate.- Work with 360 plans, owner centricity in mind to transform plans ensuring that we maximize each customer interaction, building loyalty, advocacy and repurchase.- Involve each Brand Manager to develop communications plans that cross different media, from TV, press, online etc- Advocate the measurement of the performance of all activities to prove business benefit.- Deliver financial objectives through careful budget management and effective promotional support.- Work with the EU Creative Hub to own and live the Dyson brand within Iberia. Ensure to have strong links back into them and operate within the boundaries given.- Enable the EU creative hub and retail team to lead the way in communicating all categories and providing retail solutions that are world class and best practice.Deliver a category management approach in the Spanish business- Build cross functional teams necessary to deliver in this area, i.e. across sales and marketing instill category data and category management approach that allows us to build stronger relationships with retail partners- Partner with sales manager and team to deliver appropriate messaging and tagging to ensure we meet our volume and mix targets, ensuring alignment of activity and resources, and aligning ourselves with our retailers' needs.- Work with the sales team to deliver exceptional and differentiated communication strategies in each distribution channels, driving volume growth.- Increase opportunities in-store, focusing across all categories, ensuring excellent implementation and compliance.- Ensure that Dyson.es, retailer websites and CRM are integral to all campaigns.- Ensure timely delivery of category data and trends for the business.- Lead and maintain a clear view of competitors, championing this with the team ensuring they challenge claims where necessary, test new technology and have a high level of understanding of competitor performance and tactics.Ensure that consumer insight drives all Iberian business decisions- Review insight and data that is available from Insight manager to build plans and campaigns. Develop campaigns for specific target audiences to optimize our sales potential (Allergy, Animal, etc)- Deliver focused consumer insights that fuel business growth.- Drive assessment and analysis of competitor activity to ensure Dyson stay ahe
