Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SysAdmin to join our client's European IT team.
The candidate will have extensive experience in as many environments as possible from below:
-Expertise with Windows, Linux, and AS400 operating systems
-Experience in managing LAN and WAN networks
-Proficiency in cloud solutions, specifically Azure, and expertise in managing
-Checkpoint and FortiGate firewalls are essential

* System Administration(80%):
o Manage and support Windows, Linux, and AS400 operating systems.
o Perform system upgrades, installations, and configurations.
o Implement and manage virtualized environments.
o Ms Office365 tenant administration, including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, global tenant settings, etc.
o VmWare virtual environment administration.
o Backup supervision (Veritas BackupExec and Veeam)

* Network Management (20%):
o Design, implement, and maintain LAN and WAN networks.
o Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
o Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring high levels of performance, security, and availability.
o
* Cloud Management:
o Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud services.
o Ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud solutions with on-premises infrastructure.

* Security Management:
o Configure, manage, and maintain Checkpoint and Fortigate firewalls.
o Implement and monitor security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
o Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
o
* Leadership and Management:
o Demonstrate strong management capabilities, leading teams effectively to achieve operational goals.
o Provide mentorship and training to junior staff and ensure adherence to best practices and company policies.
o
* Help Desk Coordination:
o Oversee the help desk services, ensuring timely and effective support to end-users.
o Develop and implement help desk policies and procedures.
