Overview
Product Manager responsible for defining and leading product strategy for Service Center and other Guest Facing products, translating strategy into executable roadmaps, and delivering continuous business value through cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
* Define and lead product strategy for Service Center and other Guest Facing products.
* Translate the product strategy into a concrete execution plan / product roadmap to meet short, mid and long-term objectives.
* Source and shape priorities from across the organization and target customer base to maintain a roadmap that delivers ongoing business impact and value.
* Proactively communicate with key stakeholders (Sales, Operations, R&D, etc.) and monitor changing customer and industry demands to influence the commercial strategy for new product enhancements.
* Ensure alignment of internal roadmap with 3rd party partner priorities for aligned execution.
* Drive co-innovation with customers to validate value drivers, define MVP and beyond features, and prioritize by effort and business value.
Product Development
* Lead the creation and completeness of business requirements for product development and ensure delivery aligns with client and market commitments.
* Balance business needs with technology considerations and propose alternatives to meet design requirements when needed.
* Coordinate priorities across products and projects to meet business targets; partner with engineering in an Agile environment to prioritize features and stories, manage progress, and define acceptance criteria.
* Communicate the product vision to ensure delivery aligns with strategy; run leadership updates on Enterprise Platform investment decisions.
* Collaborate with UI/UX to create optimal experiences and define KPIs to measure feature impact; conduct A/B testing to optimize conversions.
Go To Market Enablement
* Lead cross-functional teams to communicate new products or changes and their impacts on customers, operations, systems, and processes.
* Support organization-wide product training and enablement; articulate product value propositions, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and messaging.
* Ensure adequate documentation for new products and features for implementation and support.
About The Ideal Candidate
* Minimum 7 years experience in Product Management; ideally in hotel reservation and distribution management.
* Minimum 7 years experience leading a product, project, or technology initiative.
* Experience with 0-1 product development and launch.
* Salesforce platform experience is a plus.
* Strong API and connectivity knowledge.
* Experience defining product vision and roadmaps for digital products.
* Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally, and other PM tools.
