We embrace a strong risk culture and all of our professionals at all levels are expected to take a proactive and responsible approach toward risk management.**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**As a **Corporate Finance Analyst **you will be part and support the corporate development team in scouting, analyzing, and executing M&A; transactions and other strategic initiatives within the Wealth Management & Insurance Division, thus, the focus of the potential transaction will be Private banking, Asset management (ic. Alternatives) and Insurance and Insurtech.We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:- Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support M&A; transactions and other strategic initiatives in the Wealth Management & Insurance Division.- Assist with organization, coordinate, and perform due diligence on target companies and industries.- Assist in the preparation of presentations, memos, and other materials for internal and external use.- Research and analyse market trends, competition, and other data to inform strategic decision making.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth transaction execution. This also implies coordination with other Corporate Development units in SAN Group countries.- Stay up to date on industry trends and M&A; activity, and share relevant insights with the team.EXPERIENCE- 5 to 7 years’ experience in corporate development/M&A;, corporate finance, equity research or similar roles.- Financial analysis, market research, and Project management skills.- Experience in the abovementioned industries will be a plus.EDUCATION- Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or data analysis.- Post graduate degree is a plus.SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities both in Spanish and English.- Other languages would be a plus.- Asset management or alternative investments expertise.- Knowledge of Python or similar is a plus.- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Prequin or other market tools.- Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking skills.- Exceptionally skilled in creating visually appealing presentations to showcase opportunities.- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.OTHER INFORMATIONAddresses specific strategic questions by analyzing and developing recommendations.
