Job Description
We are looking for a highly qualified professional to lead our powertrain engineering development and project management team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the development of hybrid and electric systems, as well as project management, with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
1. Lead the development of mild hybrid and hybrid powertrains, considering new regulations and adaptations for various vehicles and platforms.
2. Oversee the entire lifecycle of hybrid powertrain projects, from conception and prototyping to testing and integration.
3. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system compatibility and performance, aligning with company standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Drive innovation through research and technological exploration to improve the efficiency and capabilities of hybrid systems.
5. Manage the design, development, and validation of powertrain systems, including hardware, software, calibrations, industrialization processes, and performance metrics such as consumption, emissions, and NVH.
6. Identify and mitigate risks associated with project development.
7. Foster continuous improvement and growth within the team.
Profile Description
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Automotive Engineering.
2. At least 10 years of experience in powertrain system development or similar automotive technologies, focusing on electrified powertrains.
3. Deep knowledge of hybrid powertrain architectures, including electric motor and battery integration.
4. Experience in managing engineering projects and multidisciplinary teams.
5. Technical expertise in electronic systems architecture, engine calibration, software, and product design.
6. Ability to manage economic aspects such as CAPEX, OPEX, and PRF evolution.
7. Familiarity with tools like ETAS INCA, CONCERTO, CRETA, MATLAB, SIMULINK, CANalyzer, CAMEO, PUMA, OSIRIS, INDICOM is a plus.
8. Proficiency in English and/or French.
