We are seeking a Monitoring Analyst to join our Control Room team. You will play a key role in developing new features, managing escalations, and maintaining effective communication with partners and management during issue resolution.
Responsibilities include :
* Operational Ownership: Oversee high-level monitoring of company operations to ensure efficiency and smooth processes.
* Incident Management: Manage escalations and incidents, driving quick resolutions to minimize business impact.
* Technical Problem-Solving: Conduct detailed investigations and collaborate on designing solutions to complex challenges, enhancing system performance.
* Data Analysis: Use data insights to validate hypotheses, uncover opportunities, and optimize operations.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational enhancements to improve system performance.
* Tool & Process Development: Collaborate with the team to develop and refine tools and workflows for increased efficiency.
* Effective Communication: Ensure clear internal and external communication for seamless issue resolution.
Workplace :
Primarily based in Berlin, Germany. We are a remote-first company with teams worldwide, but the HQ in Berlin often hosts in-person meetings.
Working Hours :
This role requires weekend work with two days off during the week.
Who you are :
* At least 3+ years of experience in similar roles such as 2nd / 3rd level support, IT analyst, or monitoring roles.
* Proficient in diagnosing incident root causes and high-level solution analysis.
* Product-oriented mindset focusing on long-term risk mitigation.
* Comfortable with complex SQL queries and relational databases.
* Capable of strategizing to prevent and address technical and operational bottlenecks.
* Experience with monitoring tools like Jira, Prometheus, Grafana, or New Relic is a plus.
* Ability to collaborate across teams to resolve technical issues with minimal disruption.
* Fluent in English, able to simplify complex concepts.
* Analytical, independent, and tech-savvy.
* Adaptable to fast-paced environments and multitasking.
