About the Job
As Lead developer for Microsoft Power BI, you work in an international team for maintaining and enhancing an existing Microsoft Power BI solution and building new functionalities for our financial reporting customers globally.
You are a forerunner in discussing business requirements and needs within your functional team and with business representatives (internal and externals) worldwide and are the go-to person to plan, implement and solve requirements of specific technical complexity. You act as a mentor and guide to the remaining team members.
What you do
* Active contribution in maintenance and projects to implement Microsoft Power BI.
* Development of new solutions and organizing the operational run.
* You manage the development processes end-to-end, developer testing, and UAT support.
* You provide expertise and knowledge to improve customer's business performance by analyzing respective business requirements.
* You actively support pre-sales activities and proof of concept delivery of Power BI business use cases and provide training and workshops to the users.
* Act as a mentor for knowledge transfer to all team members to ensure support over the whole year.
What you bring
* Deep knowledge of all relevant aspects of Power BI, such as: UX/UI layer for Power BI reports & dashboards, data modelling within Power BI environment, PBI security concepts, DAX calculated measures, Power Query, and Power BI dataflows.
* Passion for solving technological challenges to maximize Power BI’s potential within the surrounding architecture.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting, with knowledge of financial or insurance-related terms being a plus.
* Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power Apps, and/or Power Automate is beneficial.
* Background in agile project management and IT implementation.
* Strong communication and organizational skills with high motivation and a collaborative end-to-end mindset.
* 5+ years of experience in Microsoft Power BI and fluency in business English are a must.
