The Opportunity – Build strong community and retailer relationships to drive engagement
Join our Retail Town Centres Team and implement creative and engaging customer experiences that support our centre's market strategy and plans. To be successful in the role, you will partner with local retailers and the community to drive opportunities within the centre through integrated marketing campaigns, community connection initiatives, and retailer support programs.
This role is based at our Stockland Point Cook centre in Melbourne and is a 16-month contract.
What You'll Do
1. Engage with local retailers and integrate them into key marketing campaigns
2. Successfully implement marketing campaigns and events
3. Drive the presentation of the centre, including visual merchandising, hoarding, and signage treatments
4. Network locally to identify sponsorship and participation opportunities
5. Assist in identifying key stakeholders within the region and develop a communication schedule to ensure regular contact
6. Engage relevant local groups and committees
7. Contribute to the integration of CR&S initiatives and relationships through the marketing mix and program
8. Implement community relations programs, events, and sponsorships
9. Create and upload content across social and digital channels

Experience & Skills That Count
10. Customer focused mindset with marketing knowledge and expertise gained through formal qualifications
11. Experience within shopping centres, retail, events management, or community-based services with a marketing focus preferably
12. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail
13. Ability to work well under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
14. A genuine brand advocate with the ability to create strong stakeholder relationships
