**Space Missions Product Engineer (Trainee)**

**What you will be doing?**
- Communicating effectively both internally and externally. Clear communication and an understanding of others’ perspectives are essential to this position.
- Align user needs, company objectives, internal solutions, and market trends.
- Define and maintain product roadmaps, strategic plans, and implementation plans.
- Transform project-specific solutions and valuable knowledge into standardized practices.
- Identify recurring pain points and develop effective, scalable solutions.
- Monitor market trends and anticipate future challenges to proactively prepare responses.
- Provide technical support to the Sales team for new business opportunities.
- Promote a product-oriented mindset across projects and teams.
- Promote and lead R&D; initiatives and innovation activities.
- Follow-up of technical anomalies within the area and provide processes to improve them.
**What do we need in our team**
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering; a Master’s degree (or final year) in a related field is a plus.
- Understanding of engineering principles with a product-oriented mindset.
- Creative, curious, and interested in a broad range of engineering disciplines.
- Fluency in English.
Valuable knowledge:
- Understanding of the differences between project-oriented and product-oriented engineering, including product-market fit concepts.
- Hands-on experience with nanosatellite missions or other relevant prototyping and build activities.
- Familiarity with engineering standards (e.g. ECSS), technical manuals, and reference documentation.
- Work remotely a percentage of the time to be defined with the manager
- Adaptable start/finish times; reduced intensive working hours on Fridays and in summer Monday to Friday.
