Role Description
This is a hybrid contract role, based in Barcelona with flexibility for some remote work, for the role of Junior Ecosystem Analyst. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing agrifood trends, evaluating market opportunities, identifying and mapping stakeholders within the agrifood ecosystem, and supporting the development of innovation strategies. The Junior Ecosystem Analyst will also assist in facilitating workshops, preparing reports, and creating presentations tailored to client needs. Collaboration with internal teams and partners will be a key aspect of the role.
Key responsibilities:
- Support design and delivery of research tasks (desk research, interviews, surveys, workshop inputs).
- Analyse and synthesise findings into concise reports, slide decks and briefs for diverse audiences.
- Contribute to proposal writing and project reporting (sections on context, methodology, work plan).
- Coordinate with partners on information gathering, meetings and timelines.
Who you are:
- 1-2 years of experience in research, consulting, innovation, or EU/international projects.
- Background in relevant fields (e.g. innovation, public policy, sustainability, economics, food systems or related).
- Strong analytical and writing skills, able to structure complex information clearly.
- Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and tasks in parallel.
- Excellent English and Spanish language skills
