Our TRG Team in Spain is seeking a Technical Team Manager to support the TRG Management Team with:
Key Responsibilities:
People Management
* Seek input from Service Management or Local Management (TL or ODM) for account/site-specific objectives and set accordingly through 121s within internal tools.
* Conduct yearly objective reviews for directly line-managed staff (technicians, engineers).
* Arrange training and development for engineers based on technology and individual needs, setting personal development plans.
* Coach TRG technicians and engineers under ES control, acting as a role model and mentor.
* Manage Disciplinary and Grievance processes, with input from ES management if performance issues persist.
* Create and cascade account/site-specific objectives directly to technicians and engineers.
* Manage all aspects of technician and engineer recruitment (posting vacancies, conducting interviews with the Talent team).
* Arrange security clearance and access management for all engineers.
* Handle all aspects of absence management (holiday bookings, return-to-work interviews).
* Ensure a robust induction process for new engineers in each team/operation.
* Travel to Barcelona and UK offices is required initially.
Service / Operational Delivery
* Maintain high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
* Manage customer satisfaction issues related to services delivered by Event Services.
* Chair Service Review Meetings covering technician/engineer performance, skillset requirements, billing, etc.
* Implement internal service improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
* Forecast resource levels.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Line management experience of at least 3 years.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Driving license and personal car for travel within the Basque Country.
* Native Spanish and fluent English required.
* Experience managing teams of at least 10 people.
* Previous experience working with committee/work council.
* Advanced Excel skills.
* Familiarity with business systems such as SAP.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proven customer service experience.
* Good administrative skills, accuracy, and data reporting ability.
* Excellent interpersonal, literacy, and numeracy skills.
* Ability to build relationships at all levels.

* Permanent contract, hybrid work (3 days on-site, 2 remote).
* Benefits include Sodexo ticket restaurant (€1980 gross/year after 3 months) and private health insurance (Sanitas after 6 months).
* Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 or 09:00-18:00.
