**Responsibilities**
1. Understand and operate general accounting process. Supervises assigned staff in accounting, financial analysis and/or reporting activities, specifically the SAP to FCCS support data extract process, journal posting process, restatements and other month end reporting processes
2. Maintain open communication channels with our partners such as Controllership, Integral Payroll, Compliance, Indirect Tax, AP, Collection, HR and other who are involved in the AO process to ensure expectations are clarified and updated.
3. Utilize comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within accounting and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the accounting department.
4. Examine accounts reports and assist management in decision analyzing.
5. Review account books and balance sheets.
6. Support the consolidations team in preparing and analyzing the TR financial statements under IFRS, providing financial statement line analysis supporting the results
7. Takes responsibility for staff development & engagement, and guides and mentors team members in process deliverables.
8. Manage time, materials, and/or equipment to achieve weekly or monthly goals.
9. Promote continue improvement initiatives with particular focus on accounting simplification, standardization and automation opportunities.
10. Comply with Thomson Reuters accounting policies and IFRS.
11. In charge of support projects, transitions and process changes resulting from Company's strategies.
12. Determine & facilitate training, coaching and development needs of team members.
13. Support the use of Oracle FCCS as the consolidated reporting system
- Become expert in data management and journal entry functionality
14. Support the Company’s S/4 Hana implementation, as required.
