WHAT WILL YOU DO?
We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:
* Work closely with Data Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient data models and architectures aligned with product strategy and outcomes.
* Collaborate with business units, data engineers, data scientists, analysts and domain SMEs to align data products with operational goals.
* Define and evolve the enterprise data architecture framework, standards and principles, including data modelling, metadata, security, reference data and data quality.
* Maintain and govern logical and physical data models, ensuring consistency and alignment across data products.
* Drive adoption of data mesh and data product thinking across data teams and domain owners.
* Promote data governance best practices, ensuring compliance with data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure discoverability, interoperability, observability, lineage and monitoring of all data products.
* Ensure all architectural initiatives align with the broader enterprise data strategy.
* Maintain and continuously improve current‐state and target‐state data architecture documentation.
WHAT TOOLS WILL YOU USE?
* Conceptual, logical and physical data modelling
* Data modelling tools such as Erwin and ER Studio
* Data and integration architectures (APIs, event‐driven, batch processing)
* Data lakes, data warehousing, data management and data mesh
* Cloud data platforms (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake)
* Data catalog and data quality tools
* Enterprise architecture frameworks and standards
* Agile, waterfall and hybrid delivery methodologies
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Extensive experience in data modelling from conceptual to physical levels
* Strong expertise in data and integration architecture, including service‐oriented and event‐driven approaches
* Solid experience working with large project and product teams and senior stakeholders
* Familiarity with AWS cloud services and modern data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake
* Experience with data governance, metadata management and data quality practices
* In‐depth knowledge of sound systems design principles and best practices
* Good understanding of software engineering best practices, including security and performance
* Experience owning solutions and presenting architecture designs in architecture review boards
* Fluent English
Good to have:
* Strong stakeholder management skills in complex enterprise environments
* Experience supporting cross‐functional data product initiatives
* Background in regulated or large‐scale data environments
