We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero.
Location: Valladolid. The role is employed by Horse Technologies Division and may require occasional travel to Horse Powertrain sites.
What You Will Do
Lead transportation & XDock projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budget adherence.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize transport flows, reduce costs, and improve performance (quality, cost, lead time).
Oversee tendering processes for transportation & XDock services, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define project scope and resolve operational challenges.
Implement economic costing models and accurately estimate total logistics costs for projects.
Conduct post-project evaluations to analyze cost variances and derive lessons learned.
Support the operational transport team with innovative solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Cooperate with purchasing and industrial strategy teams to achieve the best Total Delivery Cost across the company.
What We're Looking For
A proven track record in leading logistics projects and managing tender processes for transportation services.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent skills in project management and economic costing.
Strong competencies in stakeholder collaboration and contract negotiation, with a collaborative approach.
Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; a good level of Spanish and French will be valued.
