Key Responsibilities
Design and develop solutions in dsm-firmenich ECC and S/4HANA landscapes throughout the complete application life cycle.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, functional application experts, engineers, and architects to create advanced, elegant, and efficient systems.
Define, challenge, and support code architecture decisions to enable a high‑performing, scalable product with minimal footprint.
Participate in shaping the Technology Development Chapter, focusing on best practices, code quality improvement, and overarching topics.
Stay current on SAP HANA developments (architecture, services) to actively shape dsm-firmenich’s digital future.

Qualifications
Excellent knowledge and hands‑on experience with S/4HANA Private Cloud and S/4HANA Public Cloud technologies & methodologies.
Platform knowledge: SAP ECC, S/4HANA Cloud, BTP, SAP Architecture.
Must know application development and programming in S/4HANA ABAP Cloud in ADT Eclipse, BTP‑RAP, ODATA services, Fiori Front End UI5, standard and custom CDS views, Side‑by‑Side extension, and enhancement techniques in S/4HANA cloud using clean core concepts.
Must have strong knowledge in S/4HANA SAP Build Apps, BAS‑Business Application Studio, BTP on Cloud Foundry, BTP‑CAP.
Prefer knowledge of Event Mesh, SOA Manager, ALE/EDI, event‑based application development, BTP print services, and CALM.
Experience with ECC and HANA upgrades (SPAU and SPAU enhancements).
Extensive knowledge in ABAP object‑oriented programming, reports, data dictionary, enhancements, IDOCs, RFC function module, Adobe Online Forms.
Experience with ECC to S/4HANA migration and understanding of integration technologies such as web methods, BTP, API, CPI.
Awareness and understanding of Node.Js, JavaScript, AWS, Azure, cloud native platform, front end development technologies including POWL, Enable Now, Eclipse, handheld devices.
Awareness and understanding of application development platforms such as low‑code, no‑code, ServiceNow ITSM tool, and Solution Manager CHARM.
Knowledge of manufacturing business processes (order to cash, logistics, procurement, finance, warehouse management, quality management).
Preferred knowledge in application management, solution designing, system & integration, and M&A; integration.
Experience with agile development and agile collaboration tooling (e.G., Jira, Confluence).
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
Strong can‑do attitude with profound problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Fluent communication skills in English.
