Overview
Lead a high‐profile, global Compliance Inspection Readiness & EMEAC Audits function, providing oversight of quality audits across the EMEAC region and developing a continuous preparedness framework for regulatory inspections.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate regionally managed quality audits (internal, external, supplier) across EMEAC, ensuring risk‐based planning, execution, and timely closure.
- Establish and govern a sustainable global inspection readiness framework to ensure continuous preparedness for regulatory inspections.
- Build, maintain, and continuously enhance auditing capabilities and competencies within the regions.
- Proactively monitor regulatory trends and inspection outcomes to strengthen compliance posture and audit effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain the global inspection readiness playbook, including inspection governance model, mock inspections, and readiness sprint methodology.
- Design and deploy a structured, risk‐based global mock inspection program.
- Lead inspection readiness sprints prior to anticipated regulatory inspections to identify gaps, prioritize actions, and ensure remediation.
- Monitor global inspection outcomes and regulatory trends to strengthen defence capability.
- Lead end‐to‐end execution of internal, supplier, distributor, and third‐party audits for EMEAC.
- Apply and administer the global auditor qualification framework.
- Provide methodology guidance and system support to other regions (LATAM, US, JPAC).
- Ensure full traceability of audit activities, findings, and corrective actions, with timely closure and consistent application of good practices.
- Escalate critical regulatory compliance issues and audit findings to management with clearly defined and monitored action plans.
- Share audit trends, inspection outcomes, and systemic risk insights across cross‐regions to support company inspection readiness.
- Provide functional direction to regional audit leads regarding inspection readiness standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in audit management in a pharma/medical devices environment.
- Broad types of audits performed covering regulated areas pertaining to Galderma's portfolio (cosmetics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals).
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
