Responsibilities
- Performing regular postural changes to ensure resident comfort and prevent physical complications.
- Assisting residents with their personal hygiene, grooming, and other daily care routines.
- Supporting and supervising residents during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Welcoming new residents and helping them settle in and feel at home during their first days.
- Collaborating actively in the planning and execution of various leisure and social activities to keep residents engaged.
Qualifications
- Completed formal training as a Nursing Assistant (Auxiliar de enfermería), in dependency care, or a Certificate of Professionalism in Dependency Care in Institutions.
- Intermediate computer skills to manage basic digital documentation and administrative tasks.
- Prior work experience in a similar geriatric care setting is highly valued and will help you adapt quickly.
- Knowledge of the Catalan language is a valuable asset for daily communication with residents and colleagues.
Benefits
This position offers a temporary contract with a schedule organized in rotating shifts to ensure continuous care. You will work morning and afternoon shifts, with the possibility of working some night shifts depending on the facility's scheduling needs. The compensation is strictly regulated by the CAIB residences collective agreement (Conveni col·lectiu residències CAIB), offering a gross annual salary of 14,044.30 EUR, which is paid out in 14 payments throughout the year.
