To strengthen their European Corporate Purchasing Team, we are looking for Metal Commodity Buyers with Europe-wide responsibility for direct purchasing. The position can be based at one of their sites in Germany, the Czech Republic, Spain, or Poland.

Your Responsibilities
* Manage several commodity-related categories across the company's main plants and office locations in Europe.
* Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
* Conduct tenders, price negotiations, and contract discussions using appropriate e-procurement tools and techniques.
* Coordinate supplier selection in close collaboration with relevant corporate departments and production sites.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure their realization.
* Deploy strategies and implement framework agreements at the production sites.

Your Profile
* University degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
* Several years of experience in direct purchasing within an international industrial environment, with strong expertise in cost and market analysis.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* High level of commitment, hands-on mentality, resilience under pressure, and intercultural competence.
* Willingness to travel occasionally.
* Fluent in English; German, Polish, or Czech language skills are an advantage.
* Proficient in SAP and MS Office; experience with e-procurement tools is a plus.
