The Team
Our European Valuation & Modelling Services business is dynamic and is expanding rapidly. Over the last 8 years we have established and built teams in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Munich, Madrid and Paris. Our European team works as one joint team, with continuous peer interaction between offices, weekly European-wide update calls and regular social events and seamless cross‑border staffing on international projects.
Our valuation and modelling services are focused on the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A;), Contentious Valuations (e.g. disputes, litigation), Complex Financial Instruments, Financial and Tax reporting and Business Modelling. After several years of rapid expansion, we have established A&M; as one of the leading providers of valuation & modelling services across Europe.
Our Madrid based Valuation & Modelling Services team has been involved in various landmark transactions and engagements. Our independence from audit restrictions allows us to work on a broad range of transaction‑driven assignments, often alongside private equity and corporate clients in dynamic situations. Therefore, we seek to enlarge our team in Madrid with an experienced Valuations professional at Associate/Senior Associate level.
Our base salaries are highly competitive with un‑capped bonuses that are well known for both its fairness and generosity. Employees are rewarded for their contribution to growing both the Valuations business and A&M.;
How you will contribute
- Work on diverse valuation and modelling engagements across Europe
- Perform high‑quality data and valuation analyses based on various valuation methodologies
- Strong involvement in financial modelling assignments (e.g. deal models, business plans, scenario analysis) in a transaction context
- Write client reports and other deliverables for high profile assignments
- Build relationships with clients through exceptional day‑to‑day project management and execution
- Gain exposure to senior members of the team, leveraging on their substantial experience to learn on the job in addition to formal technical and soft skills training programs offered by A&M; globally
- You will be encouraged to network internally with our other service lines and to participate in external marketing events
- Work closely with senior stakeholders and clients, gaining early exposure to deal dynamics and decision‑making processes

- PE Portfolio Valuations
- Complex Financial Instruments
- Intellectual Property Valuations
- Fairness Opinions and Commercial Valuations
- Purchase Price Allocations
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable valuations and modelling experience gained at a reputable consulting firm, investment bank or independent valuation firm
- Strong educational background and exceptional academic record, including a strong focus on Finance and/or Mathematics
- Solid financial modelling skills and experience building or reviewing integrated financial models
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Fluent business level Spanish and English are essential. Additional European languages are highly valued
- Ambitious with a desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial culture
- Experience in infrastructure, energy or related sectors is a plus
