Your contribution:
For the role of Specialist Tax, we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills. The main responsibilities include:
* Responsibility for Spain operational tax management within the local team and alignment with the tax strategy.
* Evaluation of issues and advising on tax-related issues for Vantage Towers Spain (e.g., projects, suppliers, and customers tax queries, reporting, compliance, tax planning, tax risk management).
* Assisting with the preparation of responses to Tax authorities’ queries related to commercial activities, tax structures, and projects.
* Ensuring that the financial information for tax in internal and external reporting processes is accurate and reflects a true and fair view of the assets and liabilities of the local entity.
What makes you stand out:
* Degree qualified – Law and/or Finance
* 4-5 years of tax experience in industry and/or the profession
* Broad knowledge of domestic and international direct and indirect taxation, VAT, and other taxes
* Ability to evaluate transactions considering business issues and value drivers, and to develop and implement proposals
* Excellent written and presentation skills, capable of communicating tax issues to non-tax specialists and senior management
* Desirable: Experience in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, disposals, reorganizations, and capital and finance-raising transactions
* Advanced level of English
