Overview
We are looking for a Senior Group Business Controller who will oversee financial operations, ensuring efficient management of resources within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance to support business decision‑making and drive financial performance.
Our client is a specialist metals recycling company that has developed a dry process to recover non‑ferrous metals from incinerator bottom ash generated by Energy‑from‑Waste facilities.
Responsibilities
- Business Partner for CEO and Management.
- Financial Analyses and Controlling.
- Supply Chain Finance & Operational Economics.
- Business Processes and BI.
- Preparing Business Cases.
- Contract and Supplier Focus.
- Process Optimization and Projects.
- Stakeholder Management.
Qualifications
- Relevant higher education within finance/economics.
- Fluent English is required; proficiency in Danish at a negotiation level will be a major advantage.
- 5‑10+ years of experience in financial roles, including senior controller positions.
- Experience in both larger companies/groups with complex processes and medium‑sized companies where you build structures yourself.
- International experience or exposure is a clear advantage.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel controlling tools (BI systems, ERP – preferably Dynamics/Business Central – high‑level Excel, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, relationship‑building and empathetic.
- Willing to travel internationally 20‑40 days per year.
- Be closely involved with management in an exciting company with significant potential.
