The Scrum Master will be responsible for supporting several product teams within a SAFe framework focused on SAP Financial System development.
Key responsibilities include :
* Serve as Scrum Master for several product teams, ensuring Agile best practices are followed.
* Support the Release Train Engineer during SAFe ceremonies and planning events (e.G., PI Planning, PI System Demo).
* Schedule and conduct meetings and ceremonies in accordance with best practices for Agile / Scrum software development.
* Identify and resolve cross-team impediments and blockers.
* Responsible for fostering team collaboration, ensuring commitment to sprint objectives, and addressing the needs of the team.
* Coach teams in Agile mindset and practices, continuously improving delivery capabilities and performance.
* Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Release Train Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective management.
* Assist in the overall program planning, ensuring that cross-team dependencies are understood and well-reflected in the plans.
* Track and analyze team metrics and KPIs to guide improvements in team dynamics and operational efficiency
Experience & Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field. A background in information systems, computer science, or business administration is preferred.
Technical Skills :
1. Sound understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
2. Familiarity with enterprise IT organization structures and software delivery processes.
Experience :
At least 2 years of experience in Agile delivery, preferably in large-scale software development.
3. Certified Scrum Master;
SAFe Scrum Master certification is a plus.
4. Proficient in leading Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams, and resolving impediments.
5. Experienced in working with cross-functional teams in a scaled Agile environment.
6. Experience in support of delivery excellence in complex SAP / ERP ecosystems as a plus.
General Skills
7. Strong communication and presentation skills.
8. Customer-focused and delivery-driven.
9. Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable.
10. Skilled in task prioritization and coordination in cross-functional environments.
11. Fluent in English – spoken and written.
12. German is desirable but not required.
Professional Skills
13. Advanced expertise in Scrum, Agile methodologies, and SAFe practices
14. Working knowledge of SAP-related business processes and ERP delivery cycles
15. Skilled in stakeholder engagement, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery
16. Experience with design thinking or other innovation frameworks
17. Familiarity with agile toolsets (e.G. Jira, MURAL, etc.)
Interdisciplinary Skills :
18. Skilled in facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution
19. Self-directed learning and adaptability in fast-changing environments
