District Sales Manager – Abbott Madrid

What You’ll Do
* Ensure that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
* Plan and follow up on sales, establishing yearly territory sales plans and implementing sales strategies.
* Coach the sales team, conducting dual visits on the field and providing coaching according to company instructions.
* Support sales representatives in maintaining and expanding customers, collecting information on competitors’ sales, prices, benefits and products, and implementing market strategies.
* Keep the segmentation and targeting customer file of the district updated.
* Empower and favor the work of the team in collaboration with other company departments.
* Serve as an effective bidirectional communication channel, ensuring that the company’s strategy and instructions are understood by the team, and collecting and communicating management doubts and concerns that cannot be resolved.
* Maintain good customer relationships and visit especially key customers on a regular basis.
* Initiate and run meetings with the sales force.
* Manage all district sales staff, defining department objectives, responsibilities, team and personal goals, and giving honest feedback on performance.
Required Qualifications
* University degree in Science or high school degree with at least five years of experience.
* Comprehensive knowledge of diabetes and its treatment.
* People management/leadership coaching experience.
* Good PC knowledge and good written and oral English knowledge.
Preferred Qualifications
* Knowledge of the ADC market (scientific background and use of the products) and the various laboratories.
* Knowledge of ADC products.
* Knowledge and application of ADC procedures, policies and code of business conduct.
