The main purpose of this role is to detect tender opportunities and manage the tender process, ensuring alignment with requirements and collaboration across key departments. The role involves ensuring compliance with local procurement laws and tracking processes through established tools to avoid unapproved submissions.We seek a responsible individual with initiative, continuous improvement mindset, good analytical skills, decisiveness, and teamwork qualities. The Tender Specialist will oversee the overall tender response process and handle internal and external inquiries, combining expertise in public procurement law with tender management, process optimization, analytics, and stakeholder leadership.Reporting and Work Location
This position reports to the Sr. Tender and Commercial Operations Manager Spain and is a hybrid role based in Esplugues, Barcelona.Key Responsibilities
Lead tender processes for assigned areas, including document management, technical file collection, and drafting economic proposals.Identify new tenders daily and communicate with stakeholders about potential opportunities.Analyze solvency, technical requirements, and award criteria.Prepare all documentation necessary for tender submission, including technical info and administrative parts.Manage submissions via electronic platforms, ensuring deadlines are met.Manage public contracts and advise internal stakeholders on pre-tender activities.Coordinate and maintain a central contract database.Analyze success ratios, compliance, and develop strategic action plans.Stay updated on legislative changes impacting public tenders.Qualifications
Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, or Law, or a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.At least 3 years' experience in tender departments within the medical device sector.Soft Skills
