Are you an experienced auto body painter or have a desire to learn the trade? If so, this position is for you! A local manufacturing facility is looking for an Auto Body Painter to join their team. As an Auto Body Painter, you will utilize state-of-the-art equipment to turn out a flawless paint job on brand new chassis.
Responsibilities:
- Hang and power clean parts.
- Spray parts evenly, covering all edges, corners and flat surfaces. Repair runs and coat dry spots.
- Clean and maintain all paint equipment.
- Record time spent in booth and materials used.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred;
Previous auto painting schooling or experience preferred.
- Ability to complete PPG and 6H training.
- Desire to learn and have great attention to detail.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs.
