An exciting opportunity for you as TRANSPORT PLANNER to join our growing team. This is a key role within the Operations Team, focusing on efficient transport planning for the Transport Fleet of Transport van Overveld. You will work daily with a dedicated team aiming to achieve optimal planning and high customer satisfaction. Handling import and export shipments for road transport, including FTL and LTL.Transport forwarding when not handled by TVO.Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers, drivers, and outsourced staff.Responding efficiently to inquiries, providing accurate rates, and informing about planning trips to exceed customer expectations.Building a network with customers and transporters to offer transport outside usual TVO flows.Communicating with customers through various channels to ensure satisfaction.Resolving customer complaints.Coordinating with colleagues, drivers, and logistic companies as needed.Following up on additional costs, such as waiting hours, and recording them correctly in the TMS.Attracting new customers.About you :
At least 3 years of experience in a TRANSPORT PLANNING role.Good IT skills, especially with Microsoft Office.Excellent customer service skills and a strong desire to satisfy customer needs and achieve results.Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving abilities.A proactive, positive, and disciplined work approach.Ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure.Proficiency in English and Spanish.Why work here :
