Responsibilities
Hard Rock Cafe Mallorca, Spain, a franchise partner of Hard Rock Cafe International (USA), Inc., is seeking a talented Restaurant Kitchen Manager. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operations of the back of house and kitchen area of the cafe. They ensure that Hard Rock culinary standards are upheld: food looks good, is cooked properly, proportions are correct, and it is cooked and served quickly. The Kitchen Manager supports the cafe's senior leadership in maintaining all brand standards and core values while meeting or exceeding business objectives.
* Demonstrate financial understanding of the cafe's budget and P&L.
* Control costs of food and related purchases in line with budget expectations.
* Manage staff schedules according to the cafe's budget and forecast models.
* Maintain high standards of brand, health, safety, and food hygiene requirements.
* Support the team in executing all systems and processes to deliver products and services to brand standards.
* Assist senior management in building a highly functional hourly team aligned with the cafe's success.
* Develop the kitchen team in all aspects of kitchen execution, from recipe adherence to banquet service.
* Foster a customer service environment where all team members prioritize guest satisfaction.
* Execute food standards to ensure guest satisfaction and meet brand standards.
* Ensure hygiene and food handling practices are optimal for product quality.
* Attract and retain talented culinary staff, leveraging their skills effectively.
* Set clear goals and performance expectations for team members, using review tools and accountability.
* Support staff development and career progression.
* Manage a diverse team, promoting potential and proactive development.
* Serve as a Culinary Learning Coach to develop and implement learning programs for kitchen staff.
* Maintain a self-motivated approach to personal and professional growth.

Qualifications
Experience, Education, and Certifications
1. Minimum 10 years of hospitality industry experience, including restaurant culinary operations.
2. All relevant local food management and safety certifications.
